Auditory processing assessments and treatments may be used in conjunction with visual processing modification.
Using CDs it is possible to modify ability to understand the spoken word.
This treatment is not available through the NHS.
Hypnosis
Beatrice is a qualified hypnotherapist as well as an optometrist and will use it for cognitive, emotional or other problems. These may also be used as part of the optical treatment e.g. in cases of anxiety caused by poor visual processing
Hypnosis is not usually available through the NHS
Courses are available at post graduate level, for ophthalmologists, optical professionals, psychologists, occupational therapists, teachers and parents. please email us for details costs etc. Duration from 2hrs to 5 days.
