coordination of the senses
This is one of the most difficult areas to understand.
Each of the senses impacts on all the other senses, either by reinforcing the effect of the senses such as when it is easier to understand speech when you look at the speakers persons lips. In some cases the senses can play tricks - e.g. many people can smell and perceive the sensation as a colour.
We look at how the visual sense interacts with other sensory systems - and where appropriate modify it. It can have a major effect in sport and in social interaction.
